DaisyDub pics-some BIG... (newbie)
Hi there My name is Tara and I
Just got my 92 Cabriolet 2 weeks ago and i have some photos
from when i just got her and of the show I took her to this past weekend that people have pictures of on vwvortex.com
Im in Central FL- in Cocoa SpaceCoast area (by CapeCanaveral)
Here is when i first got her (Named her Daisy)
had 14" konig wheels(now i have them up for sale)
Wasn't too thrilled about the wheels So i went with a bit different look
And im happy with the decision. (pictures were taken from 4 different cameras from People at the South FL VW BBQ)
Road trip Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNJ6SP7D9oo
and road trip Pics
Well thats my introduction
I can't wait to get started on her i gotta lotta parts to replace that are old and worn out like all the Window trim and the dent in the pass door but there isn't much rust at all mostly noticed inside the car from water getting in on to the floor, the seat tracks are all rusted up and flakin off.

Hey Tara, glad you signed up! I saw the pics of the car-b-que on the Vortex, man-was I jealous. Beautiful Cabby, hopefully I see it at one of the meets someday considering we are neighboring states.
Mind if I ask how you found us? I am very glad you did, just curious.

As much as we'd love to, unfortunately...we are not. There is only so much time off in the year we can take, and those days are already spoken for. But, I always get to enjoy living vicariously through pictures everyone takes. Plus this way no one has any blackmail stories to tell about us after all of the debauchery endsDaisyDub wrote:Are you going to the Big VW GTG in Ft. Lauderdale March 10th?? Also, as an FYI, Tuning Zubehor is currently out of business. I think they are trying to move the company from Germany to the US or something of that nature, but they haven't been very upfront about it and many folks have been waiting for about 2 months for their orders with little to no replies from the company about their orders.
So, untill they get their act straight, take your business elsewhere unless you don't mind waiting a good long while.

Ahhhh so the color of mine is Jasmine Yellow. Thanks I did not know that
There was a few things done to her from previous owner.
the Motor has some rebuilt motor work done. I gotta find the paper with all the details i forget
There is a old Velocity Strut tower brace thats a little rusty near the ends
and there is a pretty new ( what looks to be about 2years old)
Techtonics Cat back exhaust syst on her. So she sounds pretty peppy.

Travis, after 2 months of badgering him about the lights, finally revealed the problem: TZ does not stock a good portion of the parts they sell at their California location; the home office/warehouse in Germany receives the orders (provided Travis forwards them) and then sends them out via Airmail. Thanks to our lovely, anal postal service, stuff sits in the international receiving place for too damn long and is then finally forward on to customers. It took the parts sent from George in Belgium 3 friggin' months to get to me and it took 3 f'n months for the euro lights to get here (yet sending stuff from here to there takes no longer than a week, usually ). I don't have a problem with waiting; but I agree, William, TZ's business practices (i.e. customer relations) are rather poor (products and prices are good though) -- Travis should've been upfront with me from the very start about the lights coming direct from Germany. They can import a lot of euro stuff so they need to get their asses in gear and start running that place better or they will, unfortunately, no longer be in business in the USA.Calimus wrote:Also, as an FYI, Tuning Zubehor is currently out of business. Okay, back to our regularly scheduled thread. Yep, Jasmine Yellow was only around for '92, so it's not only a pretty color, it's a special one too!

My goodness Kammy, I think thats the first time I've ever seen you imply foul language in a post.
At least now we all know how TZ works and are better educated. It sucks because they can get their hands on some very rare stuff. Anyway, I don't want to threadjack anymore then I already have.
But I after reading that, I was just
