nearly new 92

Weather is finally warm enough to take her out of the garage. Just found the wheels I wanted and am ready to roll. This is a 92, with original paint, one owner, 47,000 miles.

Nice Cabby! I came really close to buying a set of wheels like that on eBay, but they had sold moments earlier. :(

Yeah, the side moldings are red. kind of a mystery. The owner, a lady in her 70's, says she bought it new, locally, and that's the way it came from the dealer. Only thing I have done is put on t he new wheels.

Great car, the carpets are not even warn. Never been hit or scratched. Everything original. After the original owner retired in 1996, she drove the car 2 or 3 times a week for the last 10 years. I've owned the car since November.

The other cabby in the background is an 82. Getting rough now, but had a similar story to it. Unfortunately a deer crossed in front of it last fall and took out the hood and fender - gonna either fix it up or let it go - not sure.

WHeels were a VW option on Jetta' and golfs in mid to late 90's. I saw a set and had to have them. The car came with fake tear-drop hubcaps - yuk.
