That is the second thing on my to do list, the first is scrubbing the bejeezers outta it and getting all the dirt off of it... then cleaning all the corrosion off the engine connectors, you wouldn't believe sand and crap that is everywhere cause it was a beach bunny......

I have already fixed the major mechanicals, ie: getting the vaccuume hoses replaced and rerun correctly. and the Transfer pump. I have to run to the dealer to get a new CTS sensor, and a return jug if they got them, I cant stand a yellowed jug....cant see squat for the levels..

Tomorrow I am taking the master Cylinder jug off and cleaning it, and flushing all the fluids.

I started in the hood today chipping away at it...

I love the pice of the guys that bling bling the car and put a turbo on it, and there in the corner of the pic is a nasty yellered jug...gee it was only 16 bucks....

On a side note I got the CTS and Coolant sensors installed, got the new oil funnel installed, and have lights in the ash tray and heater panel.

The Ciggie lighter dont work but it is getting voltage.

I have the major Bling Bling installed.... a nice shiney brass radiator top card, compliments the green... Tomorrow i start on the top getting the frame square and lubed. The Seals corrected and the doors adjusted.

I drove in the rain the other day and got the wet knee syndrome...

The heater switch is defunct, and I found another in a parts drawer, I didn't know I had it. The windshield washer switch only works if I spray it with contact cleaner. I gonna have to figure that one out.....Dam and I know it is in the switch.

The Airbag lights are on, but earlier I noticed that one of them went outm then back on after a bit. If I get a chance I will dissconnect the battery asn see what gives.

I cleaned out the crap out of the rain tray, and repaired the raintray itself, It had never been removed from the car. I also gave it a quick coat of paint...It looks purty....

The Radiator Jug is coming via parts4vw, and I have a trunk seal that has been shipped. On a side note, My eldest got an email from a girl that she used to work with in Duluth. She asked if I was her father, it seems that she works for the guy I ordered my trunk seal from... small virtual world....

I have more in store. I will snap pics when I get a breather. But these are my off days, and I am really busy trying to get ready for B=A=P.
Will I or won't I it isn't for a lack of trying.

Okay here are the pics that I have so-far....I am all done as I am with the engine. Save for sucking out the brake fluid and cleaning the jug, and flushing clean fluid everywhere. I also am waiting for the new return jug...I hate it when I can't see the fluid level.

Repaired and painted rain tray.

Gratuitous engine shots Can you see the bling?
