Here is the pic of the bee stinger, and the amount of pollen that settled on my car overnight.

Didn't get a damn thing done to the cabby that I wanted to accompolish.

Tried to start the cabby, and it wouldn't ... I was going to pull it in the garage to do the top.

But under the engine was a little puddle of gasoline.

It seams that the fuel pressure regulator line decided to say hey lets piss on Brian today. I was talking to William, and he said he had a similar thing happen to him....GOOD THING I LISTEN. Hell somedays.

It wasn't leaking from the steel pipe like I had thought but was snake dripping down the back side of the hose......

Then I had to go and run over to William and Christine's to pick up a offered oil pump....Of course I took along some liquid refreshment.

We bs'ed some comisserated some, and I got to hug Christine that was better than dropping the lesser 1/3 off at the airport as her broom left at 5:30....

So lets recap.. how my day went...

Dropped off wife to catch a 5:30 broom to San Diego. a plus
Tried to start cab to move ti to the garage to start top replacment wouldn't start. a neg

Found fuel leak... a neg Fixed it a plus (cancels each other out)

Got a new electric stapler to do the top Tools are aways a plus.

Ordered the Gasket for the oil pan and picked up new filter (wix) and oil.
Got Clear sealant for the new top (any trip to a car parts store is a plus)

Drove out and picke up a Oil pump that William offered. (That is a plus)

Brought guiness to willam and we knocked a few while bsing. Always a plus.

Stayed and Saw the Lovely Christine (Okay William you are pretty too, but in a manly way...) That in itself made my day.

So all-in-all, it was a rather good day.

So your car not starting and dropping your wife off at the airport. don't mean you can't have a glorious day.... :)

Brian, glad to see you made it hom alright. You were looking pretty tired when ya left.

Was good having you over. Finally got more then just a few min to talk to you in person. Hopefully today goes much better then yesterday. I certainly thank you for the beer and for the company.

As for the pretty comment, well, I might be, but not as pretty as that pic of you in the berrets. :P

Let me know if there is anything else ya need. No telling what all might be lurking around in my garage or if ya need a hand just saw the word.

Well tired or well lubricated.....lol I never do that.

Well got the oil pump installed today, and the f'in car won't start but, the new oil pump is giving out 4.5 bars on battery, then when the key still on slowly bleeds off to 0 after a second or two.....

there was no heavy chunks of metal, however there was bits of an old funnel....

The old pump had a wierdness to it, it wasn't smooth moving.

I painted the pan...

Now if I could get it running.,.......ARGH
