Well wood or no wood

Post by Briano1234 »

Thinking about creating a woody rabbit. Dang.... Framing the doors and fenders and rear quarter panels.

Got the Idea in me little pea sized brain, but also have a friend that will cut the framing wood for me. Going to go with either white oak or ash. then have a mahogany or red maple insert. Just toying now mind you, but dang it would be different.

Even going to change the color of the top to tan.

Wife says that she wouldn't be caught dead in it. I think it would possibly look sharp.

Still toying with the idea....... and would make the body work left to do get easier.

I agree with the wife :D , but it wood (pun intended  ) definately be creatively different  .

A few have added "wood" to their Rabbits but a search on the Tex resulted in a bunch of Xs. So instead, here's a real Woody for inspiration:

There was a nice one in that Brit magazine this month. All tan with a wood luggage rack (roof mount) and wood trim replaceing the side mouldings.
Not really a woody, but pretty close.
Should be cool, got my vote
