H4 conversion in quad light Cabby

Change overs from US spec to Euro's or slightly newer conversions. Changes to the rear lighting or interior can be talked about here as well.

H4 conversion in quad light Cabby

Post by Calimus »

Just did the conversion from sealed beam to H4 in the wifes cabby lastnight. As soon as we are sure of the quality of the housings themselves I'll tell everyone where I got them. I also picked up a harness for this on e-bay. They guy is in China but the harness is perfect. Factory looking connectors and all the wiring needed to make it a quick and painless experience.

I'll have some pics very soon, but the wifes first driving impression lastnight was something to the effect of "Holy S**t, I can see!" 8)

I like the clear turns, never been a fan of clear tails on anything. I think maybe I've just seen it done so much out here where I live that it gets on my nerves. Where did you get the clear turn? I haven't seen any for cabbies yet.

I've decided that I want the two tone red/clear tails on my Cabby. It looks so much nicer than the stock, IMO.

You mean you are looking for something like this?

Image

Also got a set of Crystal Clear Angeleyes H4s and spot lights.....
They should arrive before new years eve!

Have the crystal clear turn signals so these will complete the front look along with the eyebrow spoiler which needs painting.....

Those are exactly the one's I'm talking about. I've seen them on e-bay, was just curious if there was another source that anyone knew about.
