DOH Stoopid Autotragic!!!

If you are going to go anywhere, better make sure your tranny can handle the load. Gear changes for the power hungry should be talked about here. Is that a LSD I see in your pocket?

I was headed home from school today when teh wife calls me. "Hun, I have no forwards gear in teh Bunny." I guess 200,000 + miles on it, it deserves a little sprucing up, lol!! Now if I could get the Scirocco back together so I can get teh Bunny in there. :banghead:

One of the VW guys that runs a shop said that the autos are stupid easy to rebuild so I'm gonna get the parts on order from Impex for it.

:x Bummer! Funny, most people take that as a sign and opportunity to swap in a manual.

What I've always heard is that you can rebuild them on the kitchen table as long as the valve body is OK. It's supposed to be way easier than a manual, because no special tools are required.

Dumb question: You did check that it's not just low on fluid, right? :)
