Getting Snaked is easy..

Well, I decided to finger out why my in-dash voltmeter was about a volt and a half low.
I started the car, and the battery and the alternator both said 14.5V the Voltmeter connected directly to the battery was
off by 1/4 volt... But the console was off by 1.5 to 2v.

So I took off the battery cables and started to ohm them out and dam if I didn't find that the
Main Alternator to Battery cable was 22 Ohms.. Shoot... Took the cable off and sure nuff was 22 Ohms...

Cut the battery side connector off, and measured at the wire... 22 ohms... Just them... I thought "Did I Zero out the Meter?" OH HELL NO.
It was 22 ohms from lead to lead..... Shipstorm rant rave on cutting the connector.......

So all in all it really was a flaky gauge, (had spare).

But to prevent getting Snakes up your shorts..... Remember to Zero the meter.
