Have fun with that, I'm going to have to rewire a 89 Jetta engine bay and an 82 scirocco engine bay in the near future. Not looking forward to it at all. To make matters even worse, the cars arn't even mine, they belong to a friend.

True, there arn't a lot of wires, but ther eason for the rewiring is that "bubba" has already tried to rewire the cars before mu friend bought them. So, this isn't a clean up the wiring kinda thing, this is making a new wiring harness from scratch kinda thing.

As for the MKIV comment, good thing I don't like them, that way I'll never have to deal with them.

you had Bubba, and i had Jose. man what is going through some people's minds when they do hack job wiring? don't they realize it could cause a fire? i mean when i took the dash out a redid most of the wiring under there i found alot of masking tape holding wires together.

Damn, jose does a better job the bubba! Bubba just like to twist the wires together, electrical tape is for those "fancy" types I guess. Not to mention that bubba will take power from anything handy, like wiring the radio to get it's power from the oil temp gage

But I'm sure jose and bubba have a lot in common, just don't tell bubba that as he's prollie a damn a card totin purist.
