theres a few 1.8T cabs and rabbits out there. like i said, 1.8T the ultimate motor swap.
If you can't beat them, drop the top and pimp by 'em!

Thats nothing to fear. Somewhere my wife has footage of a northstar powered rabbit/golf. Now that is something to be amazed at. 1.8t swaps are today what 16v swaps were in the early 90's.

yea, I don't even wanna know how they shoe-horned that damn thing in there, but man did it move the car. Dunno what they used for a exhaust system (if any) but it sure did sound mean as hell.

that was in one of my sport compact car mags. the northstar fit in really good, still had room. i'll see if i can find a link to it.

Back in the late 70's early 80's I read about a 928 powered RWD Rabbit from some tuning firm in Europe. The cut the car down the middle, added about a foot of metal and installed the motor and dashboard out of the 928. I'll see if ?I can find the book, I believe I still have it.
