Technical question...

Post by BigDaddy90Cabby »

I think I may have found a dual outlet manifold and down pipe from an 84GTI. should that bolt right up, or will I need extra exhaust work?

Please let me know.. thanks all!

I'm not 100% positive but I think it will. I know it will bolt to the head fine, it's just to the cat that I'm not sure about.

Should bolt right up to the head. I believe there was a 49 State and a California manifold though. You may have an extra pipe and or fitting or two for EGR plumbing. Nothing to worry about just block it off. As far as I know the pipes all came down and stopped at about the same place so there shouldn't be any more work than cutting or adapting the bottom flange which sounds like you have under control. Nice score.
