So let it be requested, so let is be created. Ya I know, that was weak.
Ok, so some of you wanted an emergency contact list that could be used while travelling. Great idea, here is how it's going to work. Those that wish to be on the list will give me the information required to be on the list. I will then make a spreadsheet wit all the information that can be downloaded from this area.
The RSA area of the forums has been password protected so that only those that are on the list will be able to get it. In time I will revise things a bit to make the RSA far more usable. For now the forum area has been created, but I'm still fine fine tuning some things so that this will work as smoothly as possible. So, keep your eye's peeled, it's coming.

I just ordered a VagCom tool from Ross-Tech so it looks like I will be one of very few in this area to be able to scan late model VW's with the correct software.

Very cool, I have one as well, though it's only goof dor reading up to the MK4's and even then, I can't read most of the passats. Excellent tool to have though.
I haven't forgotten about getting this list going, I 've just been busy working on my scirocco and didn't want to loose my head of steam.
