ok thats the "K" bar. Those are standard on A1 chassis 16v cars. But you add that to any A1 car + a upper strut tie bar and you have a rock solid front end and lots of cornering fun.

Well, my rocco got the H&R sport spring treatment which brought her down about an inch and a half, front and rear.

The wifes cabby will be getting the same treatment and since I've already dropped some GTI 14" rims on the cabby, the rims + springs should make the car look very low indeed.

It the ABD kit the 4pt lower sub-frame or basicly like a K-bar for the stock 16v Scirocco's? I've though about chucking a 4pt subframe under my rocco after I get time to do some engine work and a spare K-bar could easily find it's way onto my wifes cabby. If you haven't already, add an upper strut t...

sounds like maybe a small short or possibly bad connection somewhere. Has anyone had their hands back there? Like for a stero install or the like? If so, theres a good chance that someone might have knocked a connection partially loose. The panel is fairly easy to take off. I would suggest taking it...

Well if the dealer doesn't want to play fair, ask them for the corporate office numbers and that should send the tone of (your not playing) to them that they can understand. All though, try the Mr/Mrs nice person routine first or find another VW dealer to take it to and explain your case.

While I don't have access to a new modle cabby, I would have a good look at the lenses and make sure there arn't any small cracks in the tail light. If there arn't any, see if the bolts that hold the lense in place are loose or can mabe take just a tiny ammount of tightening. If all that checks out ...

The money is minimal, say around maybe 20-30 at the most for the wire, relays and connecters needed. Even if you don't go to a higher wattage setup and keep the stock setup, it will improve the lighting since more voltage will be able to get to the lights and with the added wiring, there will be les...

Make sure to see the post I made in the other lighting thread about the wiring issues. I should have a wiring diagram for relaying the lights sometime this weekend. :D

I actually have a set of those in my scirocco (the cheapies that is) and I will agree with euro sport there that they can melt the wiring, however, the wiring in all the A1 cars is crap and you can do something about it. In the scirocco crowd we all want the Euro style lights but find that they just...
