well.....no. thanks for the reply but I think we're talking about different parts. This is the plastic part on the stud of the door pull part of the armrest that locks the door pull part of the armrest when you swing it into proper position.

89 cabby.....concerning the 3 point armrest. What is the small piece that attaches to the stud of the door pull that snaps into the armrest clip called. located on the stud at the top of the door pull and snaps into the door clip. and where to find two ? also ebay is out of the door clips and I need...

re: 89 cabby 5 spd. occasionally at a stand still ( as in not moving ) the stick is a little hesitant to go into 1st gear. I told my daughter this is not uncommon with any stick shift.......any input ? thanks jim

yes Briano......we already know this ! The car is at a stand still.......as in not moving when occaisionally the stick is hesitant to slide into 1st gear..........thanks jim

my daughter just said once in awhile it's a little hard to slide the stick shift into 1st gear in her '89 5 spd. I told her it's not uncommon with any stick shift. any input ?? thanks jim

can anyone tell me what the normal operating coolant system pressure is for an '89 vw cabby ? the shop i'm dealing with applied a pressure test for an hour and now says their is a leak in the heater core when there was no leak before.............jim
