Intake Manifolds

Ok just scored two 2.0 16v complete. Without pulling the intake from my 1.8 16v to compare part numbers I thought I would ask first. Are the intake manifolds both the same or is the 2.0 16v runners bigger. Couldn't really get a clear look at the numbers how ever the bottom portion of the manifold do...

2.0 L is in the air I just scored two 2.0 16v complete all the way down to the flywheel for a whooping $250. $700 for an ABA WOW! I can get them here at the local Pic-a-part for about $75 - $100. However milage would be the higher than 30k, but if your going to do the head why not have the block hot...

I did the back yard set-up my self back in the day and I am planning on doing it again. The cost of the short shifter kits are really out there considering what you get. As for welding the peices togther I happen to have a welder at the time and made three of them for my buddies and I and worked gre...

Well it all has been helpful I'm thinking I will take your alls advise and probally spring for the S&S header. I'm not runnning anything that is going to be extreme and even if I do go that way it'll probally end up along the line of forced induction. Again thanks for the input.

The S&S header does have the ball socket. They said I could cut that off and add a flex if I wanted to. Would this be something I should consider or would the ball socket work? or should I use both? As for any type of gains I know that The TT one would be the better choice for it being the 4-2-1...

I wouldn't think so I am still keeping the ends just cutting the circle in half so it would fit. After I get done with it, it would bolt up just like the neuspeed bar, and the ABD bar on the two bolts that are there for the strut bearing plate.

Ok I have a question for all. I found some headers for my 16v conversion as to the scirocco 16v exh manifold is hard to find in good shape, however I am trying to figure out what would be better. First of all the TT one is quite pricey, but it looks very good and the quaility is about the best i've ...

This includes the whole wiring harness from the car. I found this to be a little more in-telled then the average swap, but the Cabbies harness was way ...
