Re: A Re-introduction
So, is it bad that I am thinking about NOT putting the top back on the car? I have thoughts again. Thoughts scare me.

Re: City Lights
I do realize that the city lights are not supposed to be very bright, but like i said, the 194's seem too dim. The clear light in the first picture is the one that came in the light. The lights came from TMTuning so i am assuming that the bulb that came in the light is correct.

City Lights
So, i finally hooked up the city lights in my 90 Cabby. I replaced the clear bulb that came with the lights with amber 194's. The problem is, the 194's look much dimmer than the clear bulbs. Does anyone know what bulb is supposed to go in there? Clear: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r230/ben9784...

Re: A Re-introduction
As some of you know, i was able to pick up a new to me top and frame at the dustoff. I have had a feeling that the frame on mine is tweaked and i really didnt want to recover a top. top is about an 8 out of 10, couple little spots that need attention, but for those of you who know what my top looked...

Just messing with you, the car looks awesome. What color is that? More specifically, what is it from?

Re: OK, need some input
The car is already a fair weather only/summer car. It would basically be a get home in a freak storm top.

OK, need some input
I have been doing alot of lurking, alot of thinking, alot of picturing, alot of imagining. I finally found some pictures to play with. The top on my Cabby is shot and i think the frame might be bent as well. Instead of replacing the top what could i do? I want something different, something original...

Re: A Re-introduction
The suspension is great. Its comfortably firm if that makes any sense. It rides firm, dont get me wrong but it doesnt abuse you. You will get a good jolt over more severe bumps/potholes, but for the most part it is nice and smooth. Then when you huck it into a corner, the car stays nice and flat. I ...

I got some replacement fenders from a friend, already white too. Score http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r230/ben9784/0426091807.jpg Then i decided on some black Euro plastic bumpers. My brother in law was nice enough to donate his bumpers from his 85 Rabbit. The clipper came off: http://i145.photo...

A Re-introduction
Well, its been a long LONG time since i have posted here. For those that dont remember me, my name is been and I was blessed (cursed?) with a free 1990 Cabriolet in the summer of 2008. Needless to say it needed work. The day I brought the pig home: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r230/ben9784/a00...
