Well, my 4th weekend was spent returning the favor, to a fellow vw owner (86 scirocco) He had wiring gremlings. took most of 2 days and 2 attempts at diagnosis, along with a trip to get spare belts, but he is well on his way to Cali now.

Just of the top of my head (because I couldn't think of a water acronym) We can call it WIRES (watercooled, interstate, roadside, emergency, service/squad)

Well, thats good. At least I know I can keep it and it will work. I guess I will need to make sure and keep the torque converter and axles. Cool. At least its good to know, that the parts car was not a total wash. :wink:

I can't say that I am having THAT poor of a start, but, I can say, car troubles are abounding. I took my 6 year (in the process of rehabing) automobile, because right now its the only drivable car that "I" am permitted behind the wheel of. And apparently I didn't grease the input shaft or ...
