Well, my 4th weekend was spent returning the favor, to a fellow vw owner (86 scirocco) He had wiring gremlings. took most of 2 days and 2 attempts at diagnosis, along with a trip to get spare belts, but he is well on his way to Cali now.

All is good now. My day went from that, to much worse. But all is good now.

Well, thats good. At least I know I can keep it and it will work. I guess I will need to make sure and keep the torque converter and axles. Cool. At least its good to know, that the parts car was not a total wash.
