They are 14" x 6" 4x100 ET38 aparrently made for VW by Votex.

WHeels were a VW option on Jetta' and golfs in mid to late 90's. I saw a set and had to have them. The car came with fake tear-drop hubcaps - yuk.

Yeah, the side moldings are red. kind of a mystery. The owner, a lady in her 70's, says she bought it new, locally, and that's the way it came from the dealer. Anybody an expert at understanding what to look for when putting larger wheels on a cabby? Logic tells me that if you upsize to 15" x 6.5" wheels (from standard 14" x 6") that the off-set (ET38) must change to accomodate the wider wheel. Some of the wheels from Tirerack change th...

Center of trim sure does NOT look painted, and all of the ends look like OEM equipment. Maybe we'll know more once you guys see the pix.

I just bought a nearly new 92 cabby (my 82 is just too finicky). The 92 car has black bodyside moldings with red centerlines. Never saw these before - owner (original) says they are original to the car. Anyone know of black and red body side moldings? Car is white with white top.
