Thanks calimus, I've been looking at doing that. It seems with this engine code it's a problem. The reason the mk4 was sold to me in the first place was the crack pipe. So I've already replaced the pipe with a "stage 2 aluminum" water pipe from ecs tuning. Here's some picture on how things...

New to the forum, just got a 82 rabbit convertible this spring. The rabbit is in great condition but the engine knocks like crazy and you would think it runs on oil. So I picked up a 01 jetta vr6, pulled the engine and the plan is to have it in and running by next spring. Is there anyone on this for...
