LOVE IT'!! My dad had a similar blue one back in the early 70's when I was a kid kept telling me if he didn't sell it it could be mine to drive when I turned 16 unfortunately he did sell it but then they bought the 72 Beetle that I got to drive and thus starting the addiction

like i said they can be kinda pricey but they have just about everything they have new, used, rebuilt, recycled they also rent specialty tools and have help lines and their catalog is full of helpful tips

haven't done that in the Rabbit did it though in an 87 Bertone X1/9 with the targa off many many moons ago before the Rabbit

Just got to drive mine with the top down here in NE Ohio any time we get to do that in late Oct it's rare occasion nothing like a little top down sun therapy when it's dark when you leave and get home from work all week
