Need front fender moulding for '93 Cabby
I need the black trim moulding for the right front fender for a 1993 Cabby. Guess I need the clips too. No doubt the old clips let the trim blow away. Where can I get the moulding and clips. Please and thank you!

Re: Newbie with oil pressure issue
I will pass all of this on to someone who actually can understand the answers. Sorry, I feel so dumb when it comes to mechanical things. Just know that the Cabby and my 70 Bug make me feel good. Just don't want my daughter stranded. Thanks to all!

Re: Newbie with oil pressure issue
Thanks. Pretty unlikely I'll even know what I am reading with a Bentley manual but it will look good in the bookcase
I'm starting to think that one of these days I'll use my '70 Bug to tow this Cabby to the boneyard. Oh well.

Re: Newbie with oil pressure issue
Yeah, despite only having 47K miles on it and looking new.......I'm starting to rethink that maybe I should have bought my daughter something else. Sigh!

Re: Newbie with oil pressure issue
Thanks for the reply. Besides the low oil pressure, my concern is that this is such a change from what it was prior to the oil change. I'm not a big believer in coincidences.

Newbie with oil pressure issue
First, let me say that I am NOT a mechanical guy, but I'm trying to figure out a problem so that I can present it to someone who is. I bought my daughter a 1993 cabrio with 47K miles on it. Oil pressure has been normal with no issues UNTIL I had the oil and filter changed. I delivered the car to her...

Re: Kansas City area new guy
Briano, thanks a million times over. I'll see if I can stumble, bumble, and fumble my way through your instructions. Since the weather has been cooler, I haven't noticed the blinky light. Gauge still reads centered in the normal range.

Re: Kansas City area new guy
Just got my car back from the local VW shop. They diagnosed the problem as the temperature gauge that needs to be replaced. They tried the coolant sender unit but that did not resolve the problem. As I understand it: the temperature gauge performs 3 functions? First, the needle shows the water temp....

Kansas City area new guy
Hello all! I sure hope I am in the right website for my car. I just bought a 1993 Cabriolet with 48,000 miles on it from the original owner. Really excited about the car. I've always had air-cooled Type I's before and currently own a 1970 Beetle. This is a new adventure to me into the unknown. I sho...
