I installed a short shifter @ 33%. It works great, what a difference it makes. The weighted throw works awesome, thanks Briano. You are correct about the MG mine also shifts pretty tight. I don't know, if you noticed mine parked next to the cabby? It's a 1980 MGB

I couldn't find shrink wrap in that size, so I ended up wrapping it with electrical tape. Then finished it with cable wrap. I think it looks pretty good.

So,what i thought was a break line leak turns out to be a steering rack leak. The leak is on the drivers side, from the tie rod boot onto the control arm and showing up at the inside wheel. I read the Bentley manual, It says that "the power assisted steering gear is available only as a complete...
