Re: Interior lighting (mild, not wild) - Advice? Tips?

oops.. I think I lost my post... trying again.... Thanks Briano! I really like it. Amazing what a little light can do. It look s so much more modern and inviting at night! I set it up to be minimally invasive, and non-destructive, so I can easily yank it out and be back to stock immediately, should ...

Re: Relaying my headlights... Loom done!

Hey briano, I'm looking up those silverstar ultras, and it seems they are the type that have a separate lamp and housing, yes? Can I get the whole assembly or do I need to buy separately? Also, where can I get a good price on them? Thanks!!!

Re: Relaying my headlights... Loom done!

I crimped and taped. And I think this is the whole loom...? My relays have only one "87" terminal, and the instructions say to combine the two leads if you don't have two "87" terminals... The "87a" terminals can't be used. I think it all runs off the left (driver's) si...

Re: First wash and drive of the year! My '87...

It's kind of the 20-foot rule on this car... :D Looks great from 20 feet, but up close there are flaws. Still, there's zero rust on this car, and I'm pretty sure most of the paint is original. No signs of it being hit, but for some glass inside the body I found when putting in the left rear speaker....

Re: Interior lighting (mild, not wild) - Advice? Tips?

Wow, so much good help! Thank you all! I'm really motivated now, to get out there and do it, and to do it right! :) It's gonna be a fun topless summer! *Edit: briano, can you explain what I'm looking at in that photo?? I just cannot figure out where that is! :D is that the four bolts for the knee ba...

Re: Interior lighting (mild, not wild) - Advice? Tips?

I have good wire cutters, a good crimper, and a bunch of wire left over from various stereo installs, etc. So I should be ok there, thanks! But what I really need to know is the best place to tap into the dome light circuit, and the door switch circuit. I only want the footwell lighting to come on w...

Re: Help me with my 80's theme?

Hey, if you've got the original tape deck, they you gotta keep the cassette holder in there! My car came with a crappy deck so I upgraded the stereo, being as minimally invasive as possible. I even kept the old parts I took out! :D The speakers were original and absolutely toasted, but they still (k...
