The same thing happened to me not too long ago and as it turned out it was the plastic t-stat cover which had a crack on it.

How much do I add? I think the tranny holds 2 quarts and what would happen if I over fill? Is there like a relief valve that would release any excess gear oil?

My 90 cabby recently developed a growling type noise when I go over 35 mph. I think its the tranny. Its a 5 spd. I noticed a leak on the front seal and i think its leaking gear oil. I plan on changing all the seals when i replace the clutch. I just hope that my tansmission is okay. Has anyone out th...

The top on my 90 cabby doesn't go all the way down. It leaves a 4 inch space when I install the boot. Everything else works fine with the top. It goes up and down easily and it latches fine. Fuel pump
I have a 90 cabriolet and lately I've been noticing that my car would run like its not getting enough gas. Its not stalling or anything like that but it just runs very weak and after a quick shut down and restart it runs fine again. Could this be related to a fuel pump issue. I think my in fuel pump...
